From the host’s exceptional welcome, to the glorious breakfast and fond farewell; the whole experience left my wife and I feeling inspired, rested and look-after. Would definitely recommend above all. Just perfect. Booked this Guest House at the last minute and was very pleased. Finding the Lakeside was easy as it is on a main access road but I heard no traffic as the room was double glazed. Parking was on-site so the usual park-and-ride was unnecessary. The walk into Oxford centre was pleasant and about 15minutes, so very convenient. The room itself was only missing a bottle opener, everything else I needed was there. It was a great place to stay and very welcoming.
