Product Overview Mobile Shelving System made by Rotadex, Birmingham Non invasive base does not damage surface or substrate Hand driven carriages Ideal for wheelchair users due to sloped entry to filing area Unlike competitor’s mono track system, does not present a trip hazard Carries many forms of shelving including but not limited to delta edge, boltless and twin skin
The Rotadex mobile system is a space saving unit that can add up to 50% extra storage space based on the same foot print as static shelving. With an easy to operate hand wheel drive system, the units may be operated by all users will little effort. The base unit is designed to present the minimum amount of exposed rail so that , unlike mono track rails which may present hazards, it is a very safe system even for wheel chair users. This system also drastically reduces the collection of debris and detritus which can hamper and impede the system’s smooth running
Mobile systems may be used in a number of scenarios and configured to the needs of the site. For example, archive storage boxes (above) may sit on the same units, which simply reconfigured could store books, police evidence, fabrics, garments, museum exhibits and retail product. End panels of units such as delta edge FINELINE or twin skin MONDRIAN may be dressed with dĂŠcor panels to reflect the company ethos or be colour coded to aid storage and retrieval A full and free site survey is available upon request.
A bi-file, or tri-file ThinLine will radically expand the filing of small areas by maximising the space utilisation of the area. Based on a slide-aside rolling track, the units move smoothly and safely from side – to – side allowing access to the units behind. In this way for example, 7 slide-aside or roll-away units can take up the same wall space as 3 static bays.
