David Rubin financial was born in Mexico City and later moved to Los Angeles, California. His father played a significant role in the liberation of the Bergen-Belsen DP camps after World War II, and his mother was a survivor of a Polish concentration camp. He spent his early years in New York before his family settled in Los Angeles when he was nine. Raised with values of perseverance and responsibility, he developed a strong commitment to making a meaningful impact on the world. 1980 David enrolled at California State University, Northridge, to study finance. His interest in financial structuring and investment strategies earned him the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. This achievement laid the foundation for a successful career in structured finance, defined benefit and 401(k) investment strategies, affordable housing development, governmental advocacy, and philanthropy. Rubin has focused much of his career on structured finance and innovative investment solutions to increase yields for governmental entities. As a principal in several affordable housing development companies, he has been responsible for completing and operating over 2,200 housing units across the United States. His work extends to multiple ventures, including development companies, construction management firms, and entities that use tax strategies to generate equity for affordable housing projects. His ability to combine financial expertise with social impact has established him as a leader in his field. David has also explored environmental impact investments, utilizing depreciation benefits from solar and battery investment tax credits.
