COMMUNITY OUTREACH MONTHLY REPORT SEPTEMBER 2014 SUMMARY: In the month of September the DSWT hosted 5 school trips and 1 conservation lecture whilst donating 50 desks and a host of sports equipment and text books to schools within the Tsavo Conservation Area. The dry season continues in Tsavo, with wildlife congregating at the few watering holes still holding water. When taking the school field trips into either Tsavo East or West National Parks, a drive to these specific water holes is a sure way of spotting several herbivores, which come to quench their thirst, as well as carnivores that come to hunt.
