Da Vinci Learning and local operators in CEE present City Explorers Berlin
Berlin, 21st September 2015 – Today, educational TV channel for the whole family,
Da Vinci Learning and 23 operators from 13 countries are launching the online competition, City Explorers. The main prize for the winning family is an exciting
weekend in Berlin. First time ever, the competition introduces the online publication, the Da Vinci Learning Pocket Encyclopedia. Take part and get smarter by having fun!
The TV channel Da Vinci Learning is looking for new ways to educate all family members. This time, together with 23 operators from across CEE, the channel
invites subscribers to participate in an online quiz, answer a question and compete for various prizes: weekend in Berlin, telescope or a backpack. The competition runs from 21st September until including 16th October.
All participants have a chance to download a knowledge booklet “Da Vinci Learning
Pocket Encyclopedia” with most important discoveries, the master minds behind
them, experiments kids can do at home with their parents to learn more about those
topics as well as comics that explain in a fun way the key events in the history of
science. For example, those who want to understand the development of anatomy
can read about its start with Claudius Galen and discover the story of the first heart transplant. All this with the help of two main characters, the little Leonardo da Vinci
and Nicolaus Copernicus guiding the young readers through the Da Vinci Learning Pocket Encyclopedia.
