-lintels above the windows are pedimented

-W1, W2, W3, and W4 and 2 over 2 double hung wooden sash windows

-W1 and W2 are partially boarded up on the interior(CA Figure 8)

-W5 is a 2 over 1 double hung wooden sash window

-paint is peeling off of the window sills, lintels, sashes, and muntins.

-no large cracks in the window panes are visible from the exterior

-the window glazing is cracked and pieces are missing

-paint is peeling more substantially on W5 because of water damage (CA Figure 6) South Elevation: side faรงade of the building -Foundation and walls

-overall condition: good

-notes and observations:

-brick walls covered in paint

-paint is peeling, but less substantially than on the other facades

-there is a spot in the middle of the wall where bricks are exposed and are eroding (CA Figure 16)

-bricks are missing from the chimney and the top of the wall

-on the west side of the wall, bricks have shifted and mortar is missing

-brick and shingle debris is apparent on the ground in front of the south wall

West Elevation: rear faรงade of the building -Foundation and walls

-paint is peeling in small patches

-some efflorescence is apparent on the exposed bricks

-some exposed mortar is eroding or has organic growth

-a light has been installed on the wall between W6 and W7

-A small crack is evident on the south side of the wall near the foundation

Fireplace surround

Sash

a frame holding the glass in a window, typically one of two sliding frames.

Transom

a small window that is above a door or larger window

Tongue-and-groove

wooden planking in which adjacent boards are joined by means of interlocking ridges and grooves down their sides.

Window glazing

The putty that holds panes of glass in place in a window and seals out the weather.
