7-WEEK PARENTING TEENS PROGRAMME
SARAH COWLEY MEMORIAL CELEBRATIONS
We run a number of 7-week programmes throughout the year for parents/carers that are delivered during the day, on an evening, at weekends in and out of term time.
There will be several exhibitions of archives, artifacts and memorabilia in St Helens to celebrate 300 years since Sarah Cowley’s bequest to the town.
We’re holding an introduction coffee event at 10am and 6pm on Tuesday, 3rd June. The course itself runs every Tuesday for 6 weeks at 6pm in the Sarah Cowley Building (within Cowley’s grounds on Hard Lane).
13th - 15th June and 20th - 21st June St Helens Heritage Network Exhibition in St Mary’s Market.
Why do the course? Parenting teenagers is harder than ever for most parents today. We are the main influence on our teenagers’ future. Discovering we are not alone in the challenges we face and picking up ideas from other parents can make a huge difference. Setting healthy boundaries, helping to develop communication skills and teaching them how to make good choices takes skill and dedication. Taking time to reflect on our end goal can help us to build our relationship with our teenagers now. To book your place to take part in the next 7-week Parenting Teens Programme, starting 3rd June, please call our main admin office on 01744 678 030. Our programmes have proven popular and so we ask all to book early to avoid disappointment.
