The entrance of the word brings revelation. Hebrews 11:1316 Galatians 4:7 ‘’No longer a slave, but a son.’’ we are put in a different position when we are put into a place of revelation. The purpose of God is to get everything from heaven to earth. Religious teaching tell getting us to heaven. Out of the spirit, to earth and To do great things. Its always somewhere else. But its right here and right now. There is a spirit that tries to limit our knowledge. Jerusalem, the church if the first born is our mother. God is the father, City of God is the mother. Paternal side, maternal side the nurturing comfort side. The world needs the maternal side, to be shown the way, nurtured and comforted. The church and the city is where we disciple people and help them grow. Jerusalem, the mother of us all. We are not just a church going to another church size. More than a status shift. Revelation that the church morph into than just a building with people that do good. Evolves into being a the city of god. Moved from sinners saved from grace - the city of the first born. The very wife of God. Catch one outstanding quality of the mother. The ability to give birth. Woman, to reproduce sons. First the natural, but then the spiritual. The power to give birth into the earth. Going to the city, the Jerusalem of above where things are birthed. Give birth to things that cannot be birthed like before. Healing of the broken hearted, to see what we cannot see. Such light, power, resources, gifts, revelation

Word from The Movement Leaders

/ Beau and Jo have been the leaders of The Movement Youth, Auckland; since 2012. / Beau is from Auckland, And Jo is from Wellington. They met through Destinies Collides.

The Movement is exactly that ‘A Movement’ of young people who are dedicated to establishing the Kingdom of God and helping others realise their purpose in life. God, Jesus, the church and serving others have not always been big in our lives. But it is these things that form the foundation of the people that we are today and the people we are today look a whole lot different from the people we used to be. Jo was bought up in Wellington and I grew up in Manurewa, South Auckland. Through different reasons we both had hit very low points in our lives becoming addicted to drugs and alcohol. We didn’t care about anyone or anything but getting our next “hit”. That is until we heard our Bishop speak. I will admit at first it was a lot to take in and there was a whole lot of resistance. I heard him speak on T.V and every time he mentioned church and Christ I would turn the T.V off. However every time I listened to him things just made sense and it’s as if he was speaking to me. So I decided to come to church. The same can be said true for my wife.

Beau and Jo Epere Does God, church and the Movement really work? Of course because we have seen it work in our lives first. First hand experience not just from our lives but thousands across the nation. We get to witness change for the better, striving for better, accomplishing better not just in our lives but in so many lives. My wife and I are so very honoured to see the growth of such an awesome bunch of young people that are on fire for God, His church and living life to its fullest. That’s our greatest aim. To see our young people set up for a future that is beyond comprehension, to see them achieve every dream, to support, mentor, role model, guide and lead them in the same way our Bishop has done for us. They say we inspire them but really they inspire us! As the leaders of the Movement we oversee all the ministries, provide the direction for the Movement and provide support for all of those involved. We are constantly meeting with different ones ensuring that every part of the Movement is exciting and impacting lives. The young ones that we have been entrusted is of our highest concern. What will benefit them and how can we see them achieve every purpose that God has them are two of the questions that are always on our minds. Whether we gather in mass every Friday night or we are running one of our numerous programs such as PH 12, Performing Arts, Hitmen, P31, leadership seminars, Warriors & Diamonds, social outings, and heaps more your young person will definitely find something of interest to them! There is so much in the Movement, about the Movement and the young people that come along that a few short paragraphs just don’t seem to do it justice. But I will end with this. The Movement never stops moving so get involved and get your young person involved so they can meet other young people and join the many of us who are on a pathway to a bigger better brighter future. - Beau and Jo

Destiny Church is one church in many locations. The churches are strategically located in most of New Zealand’s main centres, each with a vision and mission to reach their local community with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The churches are led by spiritual sons and daughters of the senior minister, Bishop Brian Tamaki. Their function is to be an extension of this ministry around the country. This nationwide influence is complemented by the television broadcasts on national TV and internet.

The church enjoys an ‘online’ membership from remote locations and communities where people can experience the ministry online in the absence of a local church. A global audience continues to grow with Bishop Tamaki’s message being broadcast online twice a day, seven days a week, not including live church service broadcasts. Principles fundamental to the success of Destiny Churches are ‘honour’ and ‘unity.’ With these principles underpinning the establishment of churches nationwide, the church has enjoyed much success and blessing.

She is working towards completing her Bachelor of Design and Visual Arts, majoring in Graphic Design and Animation. Analogue photography was a huge influence in the early stages, where the process of creating photographs from camera to darkroom sparked an interest in graphic design. Her desire to become a graphic designer grew after learning to use Photoshop to manipulate images digitally. Even though she wasn’t the shining star in her class, she pursued her dream and after graduating from college – she enrolled at Yoobee @ Natcoll Design School. Essentially where her love for design took off. e: dawn.everitt@gmail.com
