The art of noise This book is a short guide to any one curious about learning about experimental and avant garde music. It briefs about each decade’s most prolific musicians, artists, and musical genres. From John Cage’s minimalist start in the 1950s to modern noise and experimental musicians such as Wolf Eyes and Sonic Youth, the book’s visual intermissions of aurally inspired collages describe the sound of each era of music.

D Discharge magazine Discharge magazine started as a concept for class and turned into an actual product. Two prototypes were improved upon and I got my friends to create real content to release the third magazine officially. Discharge magazine’s mission is to expose music and art in New Jersey and involve different communities with each other.

Meatlocker branding The Meatlocker is an underground, punk music venue located in Montclair, NJ with little online presence. With this project I conceptualized a logo, look and feel, and gave them a new identity for online and print. The concept for the logo and brand of the Meatlocker comes from the aesthetics of punk rock and the DIY (do-it-yourself). The logo is inspired by the loud live music and graffiti ridden walls that distinguish the venue.

Seeds of truth Seeds of truth is an informational website about my research on genetically modified (GM) food. GM foods are antagonized by many pro-organic groups. But I decided to show the other side instead, where there are many benefits to genetically modifying the genetics of crops, with the real science to back it up. This website is done in a parallax scrolling style to feel interactive and playful.
