Swimming With New Sharks!

Scuba Santa will have three new friends to greet this year when he explores the tanks of Newport Aquarium! Three new sand tigers, two males and one female, now

call the Newport Aquarium home. These animal ambassadors reach nearly 7 feet in length and dine on fi sh and lobster. The public has the chance to help name these new friends by nominat-

ing monikers at newportaquarium.com. Right now, there is also a chance to receive two-months free on annual passes- meaning

New Indoor Exhibit at CMC

Families can explore the great outdoors within a brand-new indoor exhibit at Cincinnati Museum Center. The 3,500-square-foot John A. and Judy Ruthven "Get Into Nature Gallery" allows visitors to enjoy an immersive stroll through an Eastern forest, complete with sights, sounds and scents of nature. The theme of discovering the biodiversity in our own backyards makes the exhibit educational and fun.

Adventure Port at Kings Island

Carved stones and relics from long ago are starting to pop up around Kings Island! An allnew zone, Adventure Port, will emerge in 2023 with highlights including enhanced theming for Adventure Express, Enrique’s quick service restaurant, the Mercado as well as two new family rides. 6 december 2022

Sol Spin is a spinning ride that will suspend passengers 60 feet through the air at 25 mph. Cargo Loco is a dizzying shipping barrel adventure that gives riders "the trip of their lives."

Sloth Expecting at the Zoo

The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden's 10-year-old, Lightning the Sloth, is expecting and due in early summer of 2023. The zoo’s Center for Conservation and Research of Endangered Wildlife has been able to perform regular ultrasounds to check for growth while Lightning enjoys banana treats. Once the baby is born it will stay attached to Lightning for 10 - 12 months in the Discovery Forest.

Cincinnati RedsFest is Back!

After a two-year hiatus, the Bally Sports Ohio Cincinnati Redsfest fan experience is back. This event, presented by PNC Bank, is a two-day experience taking place Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3 at the Duke Energy Convention Center (525 Elm St.). Fans will meet more than 70 current players and coaches, Reds Hall of Famers, alumni and broadcasters. Other highlights include interactive games and activities, game-used and authentic memorabilia and much more.
