The Bipper is the most compact of Peugeot’s commercial vehicles. It fulfils the needs of professionals who need a small van particularly suited to city driving. It is practical, strong and agile but still provides

The Bipper also benefits from excellent safety provision. There is reinforced fixed protection in the front bumper which emphasises its strength. The rear bumper highlights the low position of the floor and so the

THE BIPPER TAKES ON EVERYTHING! A 100% usable volume With its compact size, the Bipper offers a usable volume of 2.5 m3 and a payload of 610kg. The interior load length is 1.52 m which can easily accommodate bulky objects.
Space well gained The folding Multi-Flex passenger seat* folds to the floor, freeing up 950 mm of additional space and bringing the usable loading volume to 2.8 m3. In addition to the driver’s ladder fitted as standard, the Bipper offers several options for separating the passenger compartment from the load space.
Maximum accessibility On the Bipper, access to the load compartment is made easier by the the two rear doors which open to 90°. A clever MultiFlex retractable check strap system allows them to be opened to 180° for even greater convenience.

The FAP Particulate Filter (launched in 2000 on the Peugeot 607) reduces harmful particulate emissions by 99.99%. So far this technology has been fitted to 2.1m vehicles worldwide.
COMFORTABLE AND DYNAMIC DRIVING 1.4L HDi 70 bhp This Diesel engine has a maximum power of 70 bhp. It is extremely comfortable to use, with perfectly controlled consumption on all types of journey. In town, its considerable torque available at low engine speed provides very appreciable driving comfort. 1.4L petrol 75 bhp Dynamic for use about town, with good road holding, this engine with a maximum power of 75bhp offers remarkable driving pleasure even when the vehicle is fully loaded.

ANTICIPATE ABS – Anti-lock braking system
Cruise control/Speed limiter**
Air bags
For optimal braking efficiency, endurance and reliability, the Bipper comes as standard with disc brakes at the front, drum brakes at the rear, and an ABS system. The ABS monitors any loss of traction or wheel locking in the event of extreme braking. If one of the sensors installed on all four wheels detects the onset of locking on any wheel, the ABS adjusts the braking pressure to ensure maximum efficiency and maintain the vehicle’s manoeuvrability.
As they oftern travel long distances, a van driver must be able to drive with complete peace of mind. Which is why a cruise control/speed limiter, available as an option, programmes the speed of your Bipper to be constant regardless of the conditions (except in the case of a sharp descent) without the driver having to press the accelerator pedal.
On the Bipper, a driver’s air bag is offered as standard, with a passenger’s air bag available as an option. The latter can be deactivated via the trip computer. As an option, side air bags are incorporated in a plastic frame in the sides of the front seat backrests*.

Fog lamps can be installed as an option in the front bumper. To accompany the two rear lights, a third brake light is positioned in the upper part of the left-hand hinged rear door.

ALERT PROTECT Trip computer*
Audible rear parking assistance
Designed for the city, the Bipper offers optional rear parking assistance which operates via a system of reversing sensors. It is switched on automatically when reverse gear is engaged. An audible signal intensifies as the vehicle approaches an obstacle.
In the event of an anomaly, the trip computer displays a warning message accompanied by an audible signal and lighting of the corresponding warning lamp if one exists. * The trip computer comes with the passenger air bag option.
Overspeed alarm Seat belts
The front seats have three-point seat belts with pretensioners and force limiters. In the event of collision, the pretensioner holds the occupant in his seat and adjusts the seat belt, eliminating any period of latency between impact and locking of the seat belt. The force limiter minimises pressure exerted on the chest by the seat belt.
Incorporated in the trip computer, a programmable overspeed alarm transmits a message and an audible signal, and switches on a warning lamp if the programmed speed is exceeded. You can be sure that you will not exceed the authorised limits at any time during your journey.
Anti-theft protection
As a van often transports expensive equipment or costly merchandise, the Bipper places the emphasis on protection and antitheft equipment. Locking
The automatic locking of the doors** is linked with the central locking. The logic of the locking / unlocking of the doors permits isolation of the load area.
As you value your Bipper, numerous devices protecting against theft and intrusion are provided: electronic coded engine immobiliser system, optional automatic door locking over 10mph and opening of the bonnet and fuel filler flap from the inside. Any opening of a door, including the load space, is indicated by a warning lamp and a message on the instrument panel. ** Automatic locking included in the Plus Pack.
Alarm
An optional anti-intrusion and anti-lift alarm ensures the protection of the Bipper. The alarm system is activated when the vehicle is locked or unlocked by the remote control or the key. To guarantee the optimal protection of occupants, the doors of the Bipper are locked automatically above a speed of 10 mph (equipment linked to certain options).
