Waikato Stud Matamata Swifts v Tauranga City Utd WaiBOP Premiership - 2.45pm

Richardson Racing Stables Swifts Reserves v Old Blues Reserves WaiBOP Championship - 12.30pm Matamata Domain | Saturday July 18, 2015

A Few Kind Words Welcome back to the Domain for our second WaiBOP Premiership and Championship double-header in a fortnight. Things didn’t turn out completely as we’d have liked last Saturday. The reserves began the day well with their 2015 third win of the season, but the first team found out how Management frustrating this game can be with a bad loss to Papamoa. Committee As we all know, it’s important for any club’s first team to be winning games and for one reason or another we Patron haven’t been doing that lately. Jack Poole The Premiership is a very competitive, even league this year. Apart probably from Cambridge, most of the other President sides are pretty much evenly matched, so to win regularly Julie Clothier you need to put in consistent performances. We did it Vice-President earlier in the season and I know we’ve got the players to Malcolm Raynel get back there again. Treasurer We welcome two Tauranga-based sides to the Domain Dave Mann today. They’ll both be confidently sniffing the prospect Secretary of heading home with the points so I expect we’ll see a Debbie Sankey couple of competitive matches. If the weather holds it should be a decent afternoon out for fans of all three Club Captain clubs. Ronan Costello We were recently awarded NZ Football’s Quality Club Committee Mark ‘1 Star - Developing Club’ accreditation. This is Pete Challis basically a measure of our administrative capability. We Ana Paterson knew we were doing most things well off the field, but the Junior Convenor QCM process highlighted several areas we needed to tidy Cathy O’Callaghan up, which we did. Club Development Mgr We now have a national level set of criteria to Dwayne Barlow reference our operation. Our players, coaches, supporters and sponsors can be assured this is a very well run organisation. We are one of only six clubs in the Waikato/Bay of Plenty, and 33 nationwide, to hold this accreditation. It’s good to know that our basic foundations have us well ahead of the play.
