SYMPOSIUM DESCRIPTION:

The California Band Directors Association and Guy Lake Batons are proud to present the CASMEC Wind Band Conducting Symposium. We are bringing in two fantastic clinicians to CASMEC to share their knowledge with 12 attendees. Dr. Gary P. Gilroy from California State University, Fresno and Dr. Andy Collinsworth from California State University, Sonoma. The symposium will take place throughout the day on Wednesday, February 15th, and Thursday morning/early afternoon, February 16th. Participants in this year’s symposium have been notified by email. All sessions are open to the public. Conference attendees are encouraged to come watch these clinicians work with participants to develop conducting skills.
