MeMbershiP & MktG February is the month of love and there’s SO much to love at Deering Bay! Our membership, as well as the staff, make up the Club that we love to call our home away from home. At the Club, we continue to enjoy outdoor activities such as golf and tennis, biking and walking, swimming, dining, and making new connections. Considering what is going on outside our gates, except for a few limitations, we have everything we need right here! Deering Bay continues to be the safest place to live, play, and spend your time! We continue to welcome new members each month who have just moved to the area looking to meet new friends and form lasting connections. Our new Ambassador Club will be a great way for current members to share their love of Deering Bay with our newcomers. We have had the privilege of welcoming over 60 new members to the Club since last February and are excited to match them with a member! Ambassador matching is an art! Daniella Tosta, our Member Experience Manager, meets with Club staff to discuss each and every new member and determines the best “match.” The criteria we look at include the Club activities and interests of the new member, hometown, age, and family members. Once we find common ground, the Ambassador is assigned and instructed to contact the new member. Each Ambassador is instructed to have a minimum of three contacts with their new member. During the pandemic, everything situation looks different – but these contacts can be a phone call, text, email, walk, or a meeting at the Club for lunch, drinks, golf, tennis or both! We are always looking for Ambassadors! If you are interested in participating, contact Daniella Tosta for more information.
