Let yourself be captivated by the extensive botanical gardens of Uxmal, filled with cacao trees, continuing your route to the refuge of rescued animals that now live in captivity, thus creating a unique and enriching experience.

Additionally, you cannot miss a visit to the Meliponario, a play area that both adults and children will enjoy. As a special touch on this great adventure, you will have the opportunity to taste the delicious Chokoj Ha, a refreshing drink prepared in a traditional manner, with the option to choose a unique ingredient.

One of the most special experiences we offer in Uxmal is the ceremony in honor of the god Chaac, the god of water, a deity associated with creation and life.

Chaac is represented with a nose resembling a trunk and two fangs curving backward protruding from his mouth. According to belief, it is said that the trunks take the shape of a T, symbolizing tears that flow from the eye, representing both rain and fertility.

The Mayas culture stands out for its spirituality and its connection with the cosmos and the universe.

Guided by a Sac’be (white road), we will participate in a symbolic ritual to establish a connection with Mother Nature through the jungle. Along the way, we will encounter a Maya altar that has been built as a sacred place by our priest, who will be our spiritual guide during this ceremony. This celebration has been taking place since time immemorial to request the favors of Chaac, the ruler of rains, and to ensure the growth and development of the milpa, thus honoring the tradition and the importance of the bond with nature.

Recently, Mathieu Brees’ Ki’Xocolatl company won the gold medal for the Best Origin Chocolate in the world. The bronze medal in the Fantasy category was awarded for a blend of lime and caramelized almonds by the Agricultural Valuation Agency of France, AVPA-Paris 2021, in the International Contest of Chocolates made in their country of origin, where Ki’Xocolatl’s creations competed against 180 types of chocolate from 40 countries.
