DIRECTIONS for Setting up the Genius/Buzz Learning Management System for Students Currently Using iPads:
1. To begin you will need to make sure that you
click on the "Settings" icon on the iPad to make certain that your iPad is updated; if you need to update, you will see a red-colored indicator - and just as is with an iPhone, you will need to make certain your iPad is plugged in and charged for this somewhat lengthy update to complete.
2. Click on Settings again and scroll down to find and click on Safari (as highlighted in blue); you will then see “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking” under "Privacy and Security": use the cursor to slide the button so that it is no longer showing green.
3. Then, go use the Safari app to get onto the Internet, where you will get to the “Genius” screen by typing in wen.geniussis.com, as shown in the toolbar on the top of the screen. Once you get to the genius website, Tap on “Go To LMS”, as shown on the left side near the red arrow.
4. At that point, this next screen will pop up: click on the little computer screen icon that pops up shown in this next screen, as shown here at the red arrow point.
5. You will then be taken to this “error” screen: simply tap on it twice
6. Tapping on the error screen twice will take you to this next screen, where you will click on “CLOSE” (you might need to click on it for a few seconds to get it to close) as indicated by the red arrow on this next screen.
7. This next screen will then come up: you will then press on three dots for a few seconds to get to the next screen, where you will login.
8. Here, you should see the “username and password” for you to go ahead and login at the top, right-hand corner of the screen, as shown below:
9. Once Logged in, you can access your Google drive account from the drop down menu in the App (in this screen, you see the user name “Tammy” on the right corner of the screen; use your cursor to long-click on the little triangle below the circle image of the person to log in or out of your Google drive, as shown in the final image.
