If parents need before-school care for their child, Everest Adventure Care provides this program at Hatley School. PRE-ARRANGED ABSENCE Families should make a sincere effort to plan family vacations to correspond with the scheduled vacation days of the school year. This way, students will experience the best of both worlds; they can participate in educational vacations and not miss learning experiences at school. If your child will be absent for 3 or more days, parents should request a Pre-Arranged Absence Notification form from your school, complete it and turn it in to your child’s teacher. The form should be submitted one week prior to the intended absence. All students are expected to make up work missed. A completed form does not exempt your child from state/district attendance procedures.
