The Solution: DfMA has many advantages which can significantly decrease emissions, as well as enhance living residential architecture

Analysis: Volumetric design allows for less flexibility, but does improve efficient construction, while panelised design allows more flexibility while increasing construction times.

Logistics: Components/Modules are required to be transported to site from off-site construction locations.

Conclusion

The combination of both volumetric and panelised design methods could significantly improve the quality of housing, in terms of providing flexible living, while maintaining efficient means of constructing, transporting and installing.
