STORY MAKERS™ — 2 themes in 1 product STORY MAKERS™ is a unique breakthrough in playground equipment by introducing the multifunctional concept “2 themes in 1 product” Each product consists of two theme facades which you can combine as you like. These products have the benefit of creating the possibility of unique play equipment based on your individual needs and desires. This gives the children dozens of EXTRA play possibilities each day – one moment they are playing in a house, the next day they can play Pirates. We call it an added value to both product and play or simply “2 themes in 1 product”!
4 dimensions of play Inside, outside, upside and downside. The playscapes offer places for hiding, climbing, balancing, sliding and crawling. The space above is big enough for playing children to pass by each other and provides access to different activities which extend to each side. Each theme can be equipped with a slide, fireman’s pole, curly climber or a balcony for looking out. The clear and bright colours of STORY MAKERS™ are chosen to signal warmth and comfort but also to support spatial awareness and signal play to children. STORY MAKERS™ is for children aged 2 to 6.

Construction Story It’s time to act grown-up! This theme offers little ones a chance to re-enact scenes they see every day on the road and on construction sites. It creates opportunities to re-create real-life stories.

The Palace and Fortress This theme offers wonderful makebelieve and role play. Capturing concepts from story books and movies, children live-out roles in a fantasy setting.
• This theme offers 4 very different activity spaces and access points. While the world looks cheerful and easy under the eyes of the gracious capricorn outside the palace, a gloomy lion watches the entrance to the prison on the opposite side of the structure, where the entrance is kept in the dark behind the modular slide. • If you’re held prisoner here, you need a clever escape plan and good friends to help you out. • On the other side the princess can stand on the balcony and take a good look around. • While the climbing wall on one side is a challenging access for more fearless climbers, physically impaired children can get access to the balcony and the slide over the wide staircase, where a pair of friendly birds welcome every player at groundlevel. • The staircase offers a transition platform, where children can leave their wheelchair or walker and make their way to the top.

WARRANTY Warranty Conditions for KOMPAN Play Equipment
2. Warranty coverage of damaged parts
Warranty coverage applies only if products have been properly installed and maintained.

Play systems installed in these locations are subject to constant extreme corrosive atmosphere. This will undoubtedly cause surface corrosion. Installations in these situations require extra maintenance and regular documented evidence of washing down with clean water is required for the warranty to be considered.

STORY MAKERS™Materials Good product design is not just about appearance and function, it also includes aesthetic durability, risk assessment, high durability and easy maintenance. The whole lifecycle of the product must be managed with great respect for the environment. The choice of materials for the new STORY MAKERS™ from KOMPAN focus on modern visuality combined with long lasting values. Panel plates are of 19mm HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) and ensures low maintenance and high durability. Steel components are hot dip galvanized and carefully inspected for smooth surface before shipment. Sliding activities (slide, fireman’s pole and curli climber) are of high quality stainless steel. Brackets are of either hot dip galvanized steel or aluminium with covered assembly components such as bolts etc. New do-nut solution in modern materials (aluminium and nylon) Non-skid ekogrip plate used for curved climbing wall to ensure safe play for the children in all weather conditions. All horizontal rope, exposed for high wear, are covered with transparent TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane).
