BULL PREPARATION, FEED PROGRAM AND AVERAGE DAILY GAIN

Bulls were fed a forage-based ration designed to target 3.25 lbs/day ADG. The test was conducted for approximately 90 days and the bulls fully met their expected performance. All bulls left on farm after sale day will be placed on a lower energy diet to harden up prior to pasture. We encourage all buyers taking bulls home to continue to feed these young bulls appropriately to ensure continued growth and development.

Calving Ease Stars

Calving ease stars are listed for all bulls in the sale book. The recommended calving ease for each bull in the sale is based on the recommendations below.

• 1 star: for use on cows with little to no calving difficulties under standard conditions.

• 2 stars: for use on cows with little to no calving difficulties under standard conditions.

• 3 stars: for use on young cows and mature cows with little to no calving difficulties under standard conditions.

• 4 stars: for use on growthy heifers with little to no calving difficulties under standard conditions.
