OUT WITH THE OLD?

Tucker Powersports has hired Lesley Madsen to serve as the Dallas-based distributor’s VP of Marketing. Tucker President and CEO Marc McAllister had earlier announced a restructure of the company’s Sales & Marketing functions and his plan to bring new leadership into the company.

“Lesley’s experience in marketing, brand building and distribution makes her a natural for this role at Tucker,” said McAllister. “She will bring her strategic and analytical approach to our marketing efforts and will help us provide better support for our brands and our dealers.”

Madsen left her role at Dallas Cowboys Merchandising to join Tucker in early December. “I grew up in a family that loved the outdoors,” said Madsen. “My family’s dedication to Scouting gave us a true appreciation for outdoor adventure. This opportunity with Tucker gives me a chance to leverage my professional talent to support our dealers and customers who share the same passion.”

Madsen’s business background includes seven years with the merchandise arm of the Dallas Cowboys with responsibility for supporting retail and wholesale marketing and distribution for the Dallas Cowboys and 81Eighty organizations. Before signing with the Cowboys, she held leadership roles in marketing, advertising, public relations and digital communications with major brands in the electronics and entertainment sectors.

According to McAllister, Madsen’s role at Tucker is focused on delivering impactful marketing programs for the company’s “owned-brands” as well as the products distributed by Tucker Powersports.

If the last two years have reinforced anything, it is that change is the only constant. As we look ahead to 2023 and beyond, there is no doubt that the last two years of conditioning has taught us to respond to constant change and that flexibility will continue to help us pivot quickly, innovate, and evolve.

While change is inevitable, we do have some constants we can rely on: an unwavering commitment to an industry that we love and sometimes even loves us back; deep roots and as a part of that the ability to look through the turn and stay ahead of the curve; and the drive to bring new products and new technologies to life, paving the way for efficiencies we couldn’t have imagined just a few years back. And finally, we have a constant desire to connect and engage with each other –to commit to always do the best we can the best way we know how. To learn, to grow, to achieve more – together.

AIMExpo 2023 brings you more content to cultivate the constants and provides networking opportunities to connect with our industry leaders and more ways to discover and build relationships and friendships.

Today’s AIMExpo has changed to meet the evolving needs of our industry. We changed the timing and we’ve become more focused on the needs of our members – doubling down on our commitment to dealers, education, and working hard to deliver a stronger ROI to our exhibiting partners and show attendees. We also enhanced the educational line up, bringing you more content to help provide big picture insights and inspiration, plus more hands-on sessions to enable you to immediately return to your businesses with actionable knowledge to add value to your businesses.

The Motorcycle Industry Council remains ready to pivot to address the most pressing issues and needs of our industry and consistently strives to deliver the best customer service; the MIC will always find its true north in serving the industry – making the foundation of every decision based on how we can preserve, protect, and promote that which is our lifeblood.

The only constant in life may be change, but one thing that will never change is our constant drive and commitment to this industry we love – together.

On behalf of the AIMExpo team, I welcome you to Las Vegas and AIMExpo 2023.

This year we are again raising the bar; this year we CONNECT, we ENGAGE, and we UNITE in Las Vegas!

I look forward to seeing you on the show floor!
