A Warm Welcome I am very pleased to be able to welcome you to the second edition of the Close Community Events Brochure, as both a Dean Close School Council Member and the President of the Old Decanian Society. 2016 is set to be a big year for Dean Close School and the Old Decanian Society as the School turns 130 years old and the Society reaches its 125th Anniversary. Concerts, plays, presentations, films, networking events and sporting occasions are just a selection of what will be on offer in the coming Lent Term. It is also my pleasure to welcome St John’s-on-the-Hill to the Close Community. I very much hope that many of you will be able to join us for some of the events listed in this brochure and look forward to what is sure to be an exciting year for the community.
