One of the most interesting aspects of my job is being based in the UK but working across the world and seeing the best of what international development has to offer. I haven’t been able to travel to my home country of Australia for quite some time, but I have been lucky to work on some great projects there recently which has allowed me to do some virtual travelling!
We’ve recently completed stunning CGIs for a boutique development called Fabric in my home city of Melbourne with a fantastic design agency called Earl St. Their studio is a short walk from where I went to university – so I have travelled to live on the other side of the world and ended up working back where I started… it’s a small world. We’ve also been commissioned by another scheme in Melbourne, in the suburb of Armadale.
What links these two schemes is an approach to design that attempts to create something that is timeless – through a connection to the building’s location, an honesty in materiality, simplicity and attention to detail. This is a refreshing approach to what often feels like a more fashion-based and shortlived approach to design. It’s inspiring to see these concepts, and then work out how to capture and translate them into CGIs and movies.
We're looking forward to taking on more ambitious, exciting projects and continuing to adapt to the ever changing creative demands of the architectural and luxury real estate industries going forward.

It’s always rewarding to take a step back, appreciate our recent achievements and celebrate what our incredibly talented team is capable of. As the world returns to normality, the hunger for digital assets and CGI content is enjoying a healthy recovery, which has led to some really exciting and challenging briefs. From beautifully curated boutique designled projects, to the most ambitious large-scale masterplans in the Middle East, the team is certainly being challenged creatively and technically.
I have always been immensely proud of our team, even more so in recent months as we change and adapt not only to changes in the way we all work, but also to an ever evolving and continually demanding market.
An emphasis on remote selling has led to a surge in demand for virtual tours, and fly-throughs, and thanks to the commitment of the team, their adaptability and seemingly endless cavern of knowledge, we have been able to satisfy the appetite for this more time consuming and technically challenging work, and also develop new solutions and services.
Although thankfully now a fading memory, forced remote working has instilled a culture of optimisation, and a necessity to remain lean and nimble. Human nature leans us towards comfort and what we know. Being dragged out of that has galvanised and tempered the team into an even more effective unit proving a huge benefit to our mentality as a team, and to our service offering to clients.
Caroline Donaghue Business Development Director
The past few years have brought rapid transformation across all sectors, especially technology and digital. Marketers are having to work harder than ever in an increasingly competitive market as the world becomes even more global. The acceleration of digital means that the need for constant marketing and content across all channels is truly demanding. We’ve seen so many of our clients rise to this challenge and think outside the box when it comes to how they launch new developments to the market on a global platform.
From a strategic perspective we are seeing a substantial demand for additional assets mainly for three reasons: 1) To create a point of difference and present developments in a more creative way, 2) To communicate to an international target market (virtual experiences, etc.) and 3) To maximise content assets and moving image across digital platforms. Our team loves a creative brief and some of the best projects are where the CGI project is seen as a fullyintegrated experience requiring multiple assets to bring it to life.
Last year we saw another rise in international clients looking for London quality which is always refreshing! I am now regularly travelling to the Middle East with clients based from Dubai to Saudi Arabia. And I have to say that Saudi was probably one of the most welcoming, friendly and inviting countries I’ve ever visited. 2022 will be full of many more travel plans and certainly more regular visits to build the business overseas.
