Lino Prints: Juliet

Page 1

Lino Prints: based on a modern take on Shakespeare’s Juliet. I used this print to practice and experiment with the process of lino cutting and mark making as well as the process of printing the image. In these prints I discovered a way to carefully use the roller to combine two colours together overlapping and juxtaposing on one print. This made the process a lot quicker as I didn’t have to use multiple layers for separate colours. I quite liked how the integration of the two different inks worked on the paper.
