Sandeep Jandu 'I developed these illustrations for my degree specialism in illustration. The brief was to design a book jacket for George Orwell's 1984. The story deals with memories and experiences of hurt and loss and secrets. For this reason I chose subtle tones such as brown, gold and white, to create a sense of distance, loss and something antique.'
