En el marco de estudios recientes sobre flujos migratorios, se han identificado dinámicas y conceptos que ayudan a entender su relación en el espacio urbano y la ciudad, útil para arquitectos, urbanistas y diseñadores. A partir de un repaso de los conceptos, el artículo se cuestiona la relación con el caso latinoamericano y se reflexiona sobre la utilidad de la definición de los términos ciudad arribo, infraestructuras de arribo y porosidad, para una posible investigación en Bogotá.

Within the framework of recent studies on migratory dynamics in the city, researchers have identified the concepts of arrival city, arrival infrastructures and porosity. These concepts are of great value for architects, urban planners and designers to help understand the incidence of migration in the urban space. By reviewing these concepts through examples, we address their relevance in the Latin American context and reflect on the usefulness of these notions to highlight possible paths for further research in Bogotá.
