Sample articles:

Featured Artist: Contemporary works are full of movement and color, and the abstract paintings of Frank Creaturo, Jr. do a jitterbug with light, shadow, and a new style of organization with color that the artist has cultivated over the years. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Frankie has an extensive artistic career. He attended NYC’s School of Industrial Art and the School of Art and Design where he developed his unique contemporary painting style. With countless awards, articles, and one-man shows under his belt, Frankie is active in charity events and has designed program covers for the American Diabetes Foundation, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, and the Make a Wish Foundation. Award winning international artist Niska, said of Frankie’s old works, “It brings us back to a period that evokes emotions where everything seemed slower, kinder and authentic. You feel it through the faces and the clothing.”

4

Triana Garcia: Author and Fashion Model Triana Garcia is an author and fashion model who loves to shop. To finance her shopping in addition to buying her first new car while in high school, Triana’s dad saved, invested and taught her everything he knew about money. Now at 22, Triana is on her way to becoming a millionaire; and she recently wrote a book about it. Triana has been teaching children and young adults about saving and investing (pretty much) all of her life. When her dad started her first investor account, he asked her to choose the stock she wanted to buy. Today, she owns stock in both the U.S. and Mexico stock markets. In 2006, Triana co-wrote her first book with her brother Kostas called “We’re Buying a Million.” During her late teens, Triana strived for more independence.

Jewel Diamond Taylor: Are you in the Diamond Lane? I live in Southern California where there are lots of people, cars, and freeways. The “diamond lane” is the designated commuters lane. It is an incentive for two or more commuters to help shorten their driving time and reduce traffic jams and pollution. Whenever I’m in the “diamond lane,” I arrive at my destination faster, and I have someone sharing my journey with me, desiring the same destination. We have the opportunity to talk and share, and my journey seems less of a hassle. In life’s journey, traveling the “diamond lane” sometimes will help you arrive at your goal faster. Who do you spend most of your time with? Who supports you in accomplishing your goals? Are you struggling alone, stuck in the “traffic jam of life” and getting nowhere fast?

Jennifer Kushell: Secrets of the Young & Successful What’s your story? NY Times bestselling author Jennifer Kushell, recently went through a metamorphosis. We met with Jennifer (co-author of “Secrets of the Young and Successful,” YSN.com) at Peet’s in Marina del Rey to find out how she is revamping and happily doing everything she has always wanted to do. Rebuilding her global network of Young and Successful professional people in over 50 countries is #1 on her list. Jennifer travels to speak to young people all over the world empowering them with fortitude for peace and prosperity on the planet. She advises them to be creative and to express themselves through humanity, not isolation. The YSN.com website is a news source where young people network and share ideas. Here’s an excerpt from Secrets: RECENTLY I HAD TO CALL A BIGTIME attorney whom I’d never met.

Comedy Writer Marc Sotkin: Boomer Alley I just want a little Eye Contact We caught up with our friend Marc Sotkin in Denver, CO over the holidays. Marc is head Boomer over at Boomer Alley and a regular columnist here at TribeLA. He is creative writer and producer of over 350 episodes of various sitcoms including Laverne & Shirley, and The Golden Girls. Marc began telling us this story about a recent experience: I had a little accident this week. I was walking down the street, and a younger woman, a much younger woman was checking me out. No really. We actually made eye contact, which distracted me, and I walked into a wall. Very cool, huh? I could have sworn she said, ‘Hi, Y’all.’ Of course, I don’t hear as well as I used to so she could have said, ‘Look out for the wall.’

Readership Reach: Print • Broadcast • Digital TribeLA magazine attracts affluent discerning readers who are well-educated, curious, and passionate about the quality of life, community, local businesses, and enjoying a broad range of cultural events that LA has to offer.

INTEGRATED MARKETING

Because of our team experience and affiliate media partnerships, we easily integrate broadcast and digital media into your marketing platform. We curate your story for print, broadcast, and digital media. Our Editorial team will interview, photograph, write, and design your marketing plan. The good thing is, these creative services are included with your full-page ad, and with add-on programs like KNX’s “Off the Page,” your story is reinforced with complimentary media.

PRINT: READERS TRUST MAGAZINE ADVERTISING Print rules when it comes to showing off luxury items. Magazine ads are credible, informative, and welcomed.

Because Arts and Cultures are diverse topics, your story will appeal to three generations (Millennials, GenXers, & Baby Boomers). With more than 20,000 copies printed every-other-month (except for the premiere issue), our readership is estimated at 60,000 per issue.

BROADCAST

We support our broadcast affiliates. We are currently writing streaming content with our sponsors for KNX Newsradio with over one million listeners 18+ from Santa Barbara to San Diego. 44% are college grads and 38% earn over $100,000K+ income. (Nielsen Audio PPM, Oct-Dec 2014, P18+). KNX’s “Off the Page” was created in 2008 with NY Times Bestselling authors. The new “Off the Page” will carry the same rich content. We also support KCRW, KJZZ, KXLU, KUSC, and CRN Network.

DIGITAL/BLOG/SOCIAL With each new print release, TribeLA reaches an opted-in digital audience. Additional distribution is available on issuu.com. We love blogging: This is where your stories continue until the next issue. With each blog, comes social media. The key is to have really good content/stories. DISTRIBUTION Los Angeles is home to 100+ museums, 200+ theaters, and numerous art galleries. We have more museums, theaters, and art galleries than any city in the U.S., making it the perfect place to be immersed in arts and cultures. According to the L.A. Times, there are 500,000+ people in West L.A., (our main distribution area). The cities include Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Brentwood, Century City, the Del Rey’s, Pacific
