Camp Session 1: Get ready to enter the world of all things

Percy Jackson! A s a new recruit of Camp Half-Blood, you’ll explore the waters of Poseidon, train on the archery course, learn to read the signs of nature, tell stories around a vibrant campfire, and prepare for your epic quest.

Adventure Camp: Are you ready for a week of ultimate adventure? We’re lacing up our hiking boots and gathering our gear as we blaze trails, climb to new heights, ride with confidence, and so much more!

Mini Camp: We’re packing as much fun as we can into this two-night mini session! Join us for some awesome mother-daughter activities, learn what it means to “camp like a girl,” and experience all that camp has to offer.

Adventure Seekers: Prepare to take your survival skills to the next level as you spend a week primitive camping!

Archeology of the Gods : Join us on an adventure into the world of archaeology.

Artists of the Woods: Combine your love of

art and the outdoors and experiment with different mediums, methods, and techniques.

Athena’s Apprentices : At camp, we’re learning how to do fun things, hard things, and everything in-between!

Camp Like a Girl: Sample all of the fun adventures to be had at La Jita, from climbing rock walls to trying out the adventure course to kayaking.

Canvas Campers: Art lovers, this week is for you to try your hand at all kinds of creative activities.

Climb On!: Reach new heights on our adventure course! Build your confidence, learn to trust in a team environment, and strengthen your communication skills as you zig-zag through majestic cypress trees.

Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Leadership Team: Learn to be a camp counselor by planning activities and teaching important skills to younger girls.

Dino Detectives: Uncover the mysteries of the past as you learn about what the land Camp La Jita is on was like in prehistoric times.

Equestrian Aide: Work under the supervision of the riding director to learn horse care and stable management, as well as how to share your love of horses with other campers.

G irls on a Quest: Are you ready for a week of ultimate adventure? Lace up your hiking boots as we explore outdoors!

Heroes in Training : Explore what being a hero is all about as you grow into a girl of courage, confidence, and character.

Horse & Me: Spend your days at camp learning how to ride a horse at a walk and a trot, and go on a relaxing trail ride.

Mom & Me: Bring your mom or mother figure with you to camp!

Night Riders : Ride into the sunset after a day of barrel racing, western pleasure riding, trail riding, and improving your equine skills!

Outdoor Odyssey: Are you ready for a week of ultimate adventure? We’re lacing up our hiking boots and gathering our gear as we spend our days exploring the outdoors and learning new camping skills.

Pony Tails: Learn basic horseback riding with beginning instruction as well as horse care. Give a horse a makeover and make yummy horse treats.

Progra m Aide (PA) Leadership Team: From being a role model to facilitating your own activities for campers, you’ll have fun with a purpose enjoyable and challenging opportunities to build your leadership skills.

Saddle Up: Giddy up, girl! Let’s ride and take daily trips to the barn to practice horsemanship skills. Enjoy a relaxing trail ride through camp, feed your horse some homemade treats, and enjoy a sleepover under the stars.

Spies of the Night: A mystery has taken place at camp, and it’s up to you to solve it!

Trailblazers: Hop on your bike and pedal your way to fun! Explore camp, travel along the beautiful Sabinal River, and check out the historic town of Utopia.

The Golden Spoon: Cooking, baking, measuring, eating, and the first-ever Camp Metro baking challenge!

Rainbow Makers : It's time to doodle and create messy art!

Counselor-inTraining I (CIT I) (two-week s ession): Learn to plan activities and teach important skills to younger girls.

Under the Sea : Since life is sweet here, we got the beat here … under the sea!

Week 4: July 5-7

Viva Fiesta!: Enjoy three, fun-filled days celebrating Fiesta!

Space Adventures: Explore the planets and discover the solar system.

Week 6: July 1 7 -21

Enchanted Tales: Enjoy songs, stories, and fairy tale-inspired projects.

Week 7: July 2 4-28

Mad Scientist Laboratory: Learn how to whip up dazzling inventions and explosive chemical reactions.

Week 8: July 21 -August 4

Girl Power: Let's pull out our superhero masks and shields for a week of discovering our inner superpowers.

Sailing Camp

For girls entering grades 7 -12

Session 1: June 14-24

Sailing Camp Counselor-in-Training (CIT), grades 9 -12: Campers will arrive early and work with staff to set up camp and prepare the boats for sailing. They will develop leadership skills, lead group activities, and stay Friday night for an extra day of closing camp. The lake is the perfect place to develop leadership and mentoring skills while staying cool!

Session 2: June 18-23

Novice and Mates , grades 7 -12: Join us as we sail Sunfish sailboats around the lake. As a novice or mate, you will learn techniques used by sailors around the world, including how to rig, de-rig, and use the wind to sail. By Friday, you will have enough skills to give your parents a boat ride. The United States Sailing Association Course will be our guide for developing skills. You will participate in special projects, campfires, and learning our favorite songs. And of course, playing in the lake is always on the schedule!

Skippers , grades 9 -12: Skippers will continue mastering their United States Sailing Association Skills using Sunfish, sloops, and Hobie Cat boats. Skippers will develop leadership and mentoring skills while participating in camp activities. Projects, campfires, singing our favorite songs, and playing in the lake are always included!
