Debra Bailey

Born October 1968, to Carmen Rivera and William Bailey, studied at Empire School of Hair Design in Bloomfield, NJ graduated March 2012. Works at Soultry Scissors Hair Studio since 2009. If you've ever heard the expression "pursue your passion and everything else will fall in place" Debra Bailey is the epitome of this notion; after finding herself jobless in a tough economy she walked into the Soultry Scissors Hair Salon in West Orange New Jersey and asked her high school friend and Salon owner Kimberly Givens for a job. Destiny was set in place and Kim welcomed her with open arms; as fate would have it Debra could not have arrived at a better time because Soultry Scissors was in the market for a replacement at that time.Debra began working part time/weekends and was quickly recognized as a valued gem to the establishment.
