I spent 25 years either in law enforcement or being a legal advocate for battered & abused women & children until doors were closed for health reasons. I was worn out emotionally, physically & spiritually from seeing only the dark side of life. I realized God was answering my prayers & He began to transform my life. I truly believe no matter what happens in life there are diamonds to be found in the pile of mud and muck if one is just willing to look and allow God to do what He does best & by His grace I have found what makes my heart sing.This is such a strong metaphor for me and gives my heart wings and joy from within. That is why I call my shop - Hugs4theHeart Designs. I put my whole heart & soul into everything I make & I hope that shines through. God has altered so many things in my life & didn't just toss me away.
