The rental market in Bend is incredibly seasonal and experiences great fluctuations. Between November and February the market takes a drastic slow down and rental prices can drop by as much as 25%. The summer of 2016 has been especially “hot” in the rental market, as demand is incredibly high and supply is very low. We are currently seeing a vacancy rate around 1% for higher end properties. The corporate rental market is an emerging market in Bend as new tech companies move to the area and the hospital grows. There is unbelievable demand for high end corporate rentals close to the river and in walking distance to downtown. Most of the placement agencies and corporations are looking for 3-6 month rentals and are willing to pay above top dollar for the right property.
