This popular JVA Volleyball Club program continues to grow. Area volleyball coaches and Millikin University athletes are your qualified coaches, ready to help players of all levels improve. The Illini United Youth League runs March - April. Tryouts for the Junior High club team will be Sunday, March 22 from 3 - 5 p.m. at the DISC. This class will highlight different aspects of the world including nature, animals, and oceans. Children will take part in hands-on activities to discover the beauties of the world. Junior Golf Spring Training

Players are divided into age groups at various skill-building stations in the full gym and batting cages. Instructors cover fielding, hitting, throwing, catching and running. Zoo Special Events Critter Egg Hunt - April 4 at 2 p.m. Singing and dancing with Park District arts staff at 1:30 p.m. leads up to the Critter Egg Hunt for children aged 10 and under at 2 p.m. Enjoy family-friendly, post-hunt activities with Children’s Museum staff. PERFORM! In conjunction with the Millikin University Preparatory Department, Decatur Youth Symphony Orchestra and Dr. Neal Smith, area actors in grades 1st – 12th will perform the classic musical Fiddler on the Roof. Winner of 10 Tony Awards, this show has touched audiences worldwide with its humor, warmth and honesty, and is a staple of musical theatre. Two separate casts of performers and musicians will perform. Reserved seating is $7 per person and available for purchase at the Decatur Park District Administrative Office (620 E.
