Soar to new heights at Decatur Airport’s Fun Day on Saturday, May 21! Every camp day is filled with a new adventure through sports, crafts, nature, experiments, and more! Campers go swimming twice a week and take a local field trip every Friday. Summer Teen Club

Community Yoga at Nelson Park Enjoy yoga in the great outdoors, with Sunday morning classes led by instructors from the Decatur Park District and area studios. A limited number of mats will be available. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring water to hydrate. No registration necessary. Cookin’ with the Chorale presented by WAND-17 May 28 & 29 • 6 p.m. Fairview Park Pavilion #1
Picnic in the park and enjoy “Made In America” featuring the Greater Decatur Chorale! Directed by Cyndi Johnson, the Chorale celebrates 32 years of wonderful music and features over 70 talented vocalists! This event is free and open to the public. Parks Insider Running Tuesday Night Park Runs
Head to Fairview for a Tuesday night run in the park! This weekly event includes a half-mile Tot Trot, one-mile Fun Run or various distances up to seven miles. Come by yourself or bring the entire family! A distance race schedule is available at the DISC. Participants qualify for prize drawings donated by local merchants. The Big Obstacle 3K Presented by Earth Mover Credit Union
July 23 w Fairview Park w NEW KIDS COURSE! The Decatur Parks Foundation is teaming up once again with United Way of Decatur & Mid-Illinois to present The Big Obstacle 3K. This EXTREME event includes 1.8 miles of military-style obstacles, climbing walls, tube tunnels, strength/endurance challenges and inflatables. The 2016 BO3K offers exciting new obstacles, a team division, kids’ course, additional heat times with professional timing, and more awards. Stick around for music, food, and beverages. Golf Junior Season Pass Discounts in 2016!
To encourage youth participation, the Park District is reducing the fee of junior season passes to just $150, which includes unlimited play on weekdays and after 1 p.m. on holidays and weekends. Also included are Academy Junior Camps and admission to the Fred Copeland/ Par Tamers Tournament on June 29 ( a $145 value!). Pro Tips Night
Join the pros on the driving range and putting green, and enjoy all the range balls you can hit! Junior golfers are encouraged to attend. Family Fun Rates
June 4 - August 28 On weekends and holidays after 2:30 p.m., families can play 9 holes with one cart at all courses for just $30 a foursome, $25 a threesome, or $20 a twosome. Decatur Golf Academy Junior Camps
In these fun, interactive 4-day camps, beginners will focus on coordination, simple techniques, and motor skills. More advanced players will work on form, fundamentals, and player development. “Play Days” will be offered each Friday of the camp week. Fall MidState Youth Soccer League (MYSL)
MidState Youth Soccer League is for youth in grades K - 8 and allows players the freedom to be creative, while enhancing their soccer skills. First Gig Rock N’ Roll Camp
Sound, compose, produce, and perform like a rock star! With the help of Mike Schoneman and The Chicago Blackhawks Band, students aged 10 - 18 will enjoy a week of learning and fun. 2016 Summer Lunch Program The Decatur Park District’s parks are site locations for the Summer Food Service Program, which provides FREE lunch and snacks to children aged 18 and younger.
