Storybook Adventure
Youth & Family Activities Super Saturday Recess Youth aged 4 - 11 can enjoy an active morning with inflatables, scooters, basketball, tumbling, and more! The rock wall will be available on select dates. Parents must be present. Need not be a member of the DISC to participate. Children 3 & under may participate but are excluded from use of the inflatables for their safety.
Each week your child will listen to a story then participate in art activities highlighting the book’s characters and events. Classes are for ages 2 - 5 and will enhance participants’ fine and gross motor skills. 41st Annual Turkey Trot - November 21 Enter the 5K or 10K run, 5K recreational walk, or 1/2 mile Turkey Tot Trot in
Fairview Park! Tot Trot includes a t-shirt and participation prizes. 5K and 10K races include computerized results and 3-deep awards per age group. The first 300 entrants in the 5K, 10K, and walk also receive a long-sleeved tech tee. Online registration at Active.com closes Nov. 6. Register by Nov. 6 to guarantee a shirt.

LIVE! From Broadway - Audition Workshop

This Broadway audition workshop includes a Q & A series and work session with Broadway stars from Phantom of the Opera and other amazing shows. You’ll also audition for a chance to perform in a Broadway show at the Lincoln Square Theatre on November 7. Fee includes audition workshop and ticket to the Saturday Broadway performance. Calling all actors in grades 1 - 12! Be part of a professional production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, featuring an all youth cast. MidState’s youth indoor programs are designed to teach soccer fundamentals and techniques. Participants learn passing, dribbling, and team play. 30-minute training sessions are followed by a 15-minute game. Players are assigned to teams on a weekly basis.
