Staley Striders XC Running Club Go the distance with the Staley Striders Cross Country Running Club! Participants may choose to run locally and/or take part in Junior Olympics meets. Cross Country Twosome Relay Give this relay a try! Two people will make up the relay team, with youth, adult, and parent/child divisions. The XC course is a one-mile loop in Fairview Park. Each person will alternate miles, running two miles each for a total of 4 miles. A 1/2 mile Tot Trot will precede the race. Super Saturday Recess at the DISC

August 15 - October 10 Weekdays: 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.* Saturdays & Sundays: 9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.* *Last admission one hour before closing. Zoo closes for the 2016 regular season on October 10.

Kids will enjoy an active Saturday morning at the DISC with activities including an open gym with inflatables, scooters, basketball, tumbling, and more! The rock wall will be offered on select dates. Parents must be present. No registration necessary. Date: Saturdays, October 22 - January 28 Time: 10 a.m. - noon Age: 4 - 11 Location: DISC, 1295 W. Zoo Buddies Classes Can you waddle like a penguin, howl like a wolf, or run like a cheetah? An exciting animal adventure awaits 3 - 5 year-olds and their adult guests! Through the use of short stories and hands-on activities, we will make connections with some amazing creatures. Basketball Little Blue Basketball Camp Directed by Coach Matt Nadelhoffer and the MU Men’s Basketball Team, players learn new skills in this two-day camp focusing on teamwork, dribbling, passing, and shooting. MidState Soccer Club Indoor Little Kritters Soccer Little Kritters is a 5-week program specially designed for preschool players. A story book is provided, which highlights 11 animal characters who possess unique soccer skills. MidState Soccer Club coaches help participants learn these soccer skills through fun activities. Arts Stage Make-up In this 3-day class, students will dive into fundamental principles of stage make-up. Lacrosse Winter Skills Camp

The Decatur Park District developed the Park Watch program to help prevent crimes in our parks, properties, and facilities. All tips are appreciated, and you may receive a reward for information leading to the arrest of people responsible for these crimes. • Please be on the lookout for suspicious activity. • If you have a tip, call Park Watch at 422-5911. • Tips can be made anonymously and you may receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.

In this 5-week clinic, participants will learn passing, catching, shooting, cradling, and scooping, along with the basic rules of lacrosse. All necessary equipment provided.
