t’s the twenty-third of July, 1663.

As usual, it was a lovely day on the Mediterranean Sea. Aboard the Aldivento, it was another matter entirely. The sun was beating down on the crew’s backs; their sweat drenching their bodies. Even the girls were sweating... With the gusts low and the temperature rising, emotions ran high, especially their tempers. The crew members were doing their jobs, of course. Cat and Feetsie were managing the ship, and Lio was “healing” Foxy in the sick bay. Our dear captain, Wilson Kain, and his wife, Castalia, were lounging about in his favorite place, the crow’s nest. They were of course doing nothing except for reading. Now, where is our *favorite* lovely doctor? Oh, that’s easy. He’s obviously not in the sick bay with the two sensual love birds, or the crow’s nest. He’s wandering the decks for his beloved, whom he is determined to annoy again today. She was posed on the main deck. The dreaded laundry basket was in front of her, waiting to be washed. She obviously did not want to do it. It was too hot for her to do anything, and without any shade, heatstroke was inevitable. But she continued washing, for complaining would only make it worse. Wes was watching her from a distance. He stayed close enough to see her, but far enough not to be noticed. He wanted this space to plan out his scheme. He then saw Cassiopea finish scrubbing the floorboards a few meters from her. His plan was going to be good... “I’m so glad I’m almost done... Now I only have Wes’ laundry to do. Then I am finished!” Cassandra thought exasperatedly. She was so ready just to finish the day and sleep. Though, luckily for her, Kane ordered her to dry the clothes as well on the makeshift clothesline. He just discovered how much easier it would be to use... and well... you get the idea. So Wes, enjoying a cucumber, moved in closer to her. She was hanging up some clean clothes. He was a lion on the prowl. “Hello, Gersemi. Nice sun we have here.” “Go away Wes. I just want to finish.” “Awww... but Gersemi... what ever happen to the play then work attitude? I would much rather have you in a more,” he gave a smirk,”...giving... mood.”

“Will you stop badgering me! Sweet Jesus! It’s too hot for this! I just want to finish!” She was so cross with him. She could did not want to look him in his beautiful eyes and loose her determination. She then saw it... the escape she was looking for. She reached up to hang up a newly clean pair of underwear... his... underwear. Then a large prevailing wind waved the hanging clothes, and she found her escape. She “accidentally” let go of the underwear and let them fly. Wes, seeing his pair of underwear flutter away, ran after it. It was quite the amusing site as anyone on the ship could say. Wes' shirt, which he did not button before, ruffled in the strong gust. It was truly an scene from a romance novel. Pifo could not keep his eyes away, and walked straight into a railing, toppled over, and hit his nose on the banister. In the most perverted sense, a bloodied nose concluded. When Wes finally got his underwear, he spied his beloved laughing. She had tears running down her face. She could not help it. He fell for her nostrum. After seeing her elated face, he knew he had fell for it. He hung the undies back up to dry, and proceeded to capture Kes. She squealed, his arms pinning hers to her sides. She looked up, and she discerned that she had mischief plainly in her eyes. "You are going to be the death of me," he sighed. He locked his gaze onto hers. She did not cower in fear. "And you, my dear Doctor, will enjoy every minute of it." She smiled sincerely at him. He could not take her ethereal beauty, and kissed her vehemently. The pink fog and butterflies separated them from the rest of the crew. They were in their own little world, and escaping into their future... together... like it should be.
