8 DANGEROUS ELECTRICAL HAZARDS YOU NEED TO KNOW As today’s world is completely dependent on electricity and there is a high amount of risk for the people at home, office, and factory. These potential risks can be eliminated by taking the help of an electrician. Here are 8 electrical hazards that can arise:

1. POOR WIRING AND DEFECTIVE ELECTRIC WIRES For safety purpose, standard good quality wiring is mandatory. You need to face serious consequences of power surges, arc faults if the wiring is not of standard quality. As prevention is better than cure, you can contact an electrician instead of doing it yourself. There is a high possibility of electrical accidents because of damaged, worn, broken or corroded electric cables can.

So always go for the electrician to be safe and secure.

6. EXTENSION CORDS For reducing the chance of tripping just keep the extension cords carefully fixed in place. It is always good to use plastic sockets on unused sockets. Don’t use extension cords for many appliances together.

7. LIGHTBULBS There are potential dangers in using light bulbs too especially when they are placed near some flammable materials like curtains, plastic, beds etc. It is always good to use proper electric wattage of bulb to avoid over heating.

8. COVERED ELECTRICAL CORDS AND WIRES Electrical fire accident is possible because of heavy covering of wires so make sure other electronic devices like computers have proper ventilation area.
