Let your children release their inner MasterChef!
Our professional chef instructors guide kid chefs by providing safe, entertaining, hands-on learning throughout the class, but it’s the kid chefs who do the prepping and cooking! Our class sessions are a BLAST for all ages! When kids get to touch the ingredients and have a hand in creating their food, they’re much more willing to try new foods. Total Sports
This enrichment program features a new sport each week. Some of the sports taught and played include basketball, floor hockey, football, kickball, soccer, and baseball. To meet the growing needs of the community for after school recreation, Deerfield Park District offers busing from Walden, Kipling, South Park and Wilmot Schools to Jewett Park Community Center for after school programs. Find the programs in the Enrichment, Youth & Teen, Dance and Theater sections with the bus logo next to them. Participants for the bus shuttle will meet with the After School Club Program at your school until the shuttle arrives. Pick-ups begin at Walden, Kipling, South Park and then Wilmot Schools. To participate in After School Busing, participants must be signed up for a program at Jewett Park Community Center. Look for this bus symbol BUS next to the day and time for busing availability. Participants must indicate both the program activity number and busing activity number on the registration form.
