Youth Dance and Theater

Chicago Loves Dance runs on the philosophy that dance should open your child’s creative abilities and be FUN! We pride ourselves on teaching the self-esteem and socialization needed in everyday life through the activity of dance and performance. The last day of the class will be a parent watch day where they will do a short performance to show off their new talents.

Build Your Own Dance Troupe

Do you want to participate in some of the amazing dance classes Deerfield Park District and Chicago Loves Dance has to offer but are hesitant to join a class with people you do not know? Now’s your opportunity to gather your friends to build your own dance troupe! Deerfield Park District is partnering with Chicago Loves Dance to personalize your dance class! Bring a minimum of five participants and we will work with you to find a day/time that works with your Troupe’s schedule. Available classes: Cheer/Poms, Breakdance, Hip-Hop and Youth Yoga. Sarah Hall Performers Troupe

Dedicated musical theatre students will explore the wonderful world of theatre as they navigate their way through a unique production. This advanced musical theatre class focuses on performance, teamwork, dramaturgy and the purpose of performing. Students will share their full-scale musical production of Into the Woods (rights pending) at the end of the session at Caruso Middle School. Acceptance into the troupe will be by audition only*; all accepted troupe members are guaranteed a role in the production, but no particular role.

*Auditions for Deerfield Performers Troupe fall 2022 will
