Developmental Program

Our Developmental Program (Minnows) is designed to bridge the gap between swim lessons and competitive swimming. Emphasis is placed on learning basic competitive skills, improving body awareness in the water, developing positive self-esteem, making friends, and having fun! Practices are scheduled at the Sachs Recreation Center, but some nights may be moved to Deerspring if space permits.

Senior Program

Our Senior Program is designed to incorporate the training needs of all high school age swimmers. There are 2 groups within the Senior Program (Gold 1 and Gold 2) and the Head Senior Coach will have the final say on group placement. Dryland is an important part of training in the Senior Program, so fees and expectations include dryland workouts. Gold swimmers are expected to communicate with coaches about potential conflicts to their training schedule. The intent of Gold 1 is to provide a training environment for athletes to be successful not only within COHO, but also the high school level. Swimmers are expected to attend at least 70% of all workouts. The intent of Gold 2 is to provide a more intense environment for advance swimmers who are dedicated to training and competing year-round. Swimmers are expected to attend 85% of all workouts. Swimmers who do not meet the expectations of Gold 2 will be re-assigned to Gold 1.

The schedule for PM dryland and swim practices will be sent out once finalized.
