Steel & Oak Beer Graphic Design, Packaging
Project overview: Steel and Oak Brewing Co symbolizes the modernness of today while paying homage to the craftsmanship of years long past. A bright young voice in New Westminster's storied past, Steel and Oak is bringing a refreshed perspective and vibrant energy to the craft beer scene. Supportive, open minded and encouraging clients like this remind us why we opened our doors in the first place. Champions of the process, Steel & Oak embraced the opportunity to get involved and realize their visions through our creative lens. The perspective and insights we gained through working closely and personably with the client helped us create design solutions that resonated early and easily. Design and creative solution: Our design approach was to create a bold, modern look for Steel & Oak’s lineup of bottles and growlers, by designing a cohesive system that stretches across a variety of products creates unshakable consistency and pays dividends towards creating a recognizable brand. The iconic S&O monogram arrangement was created to act as a associative trigger and secondary logo; an easier and more digestible way to infer the full brand. Current trends and the existing visual landscape heavily influenced our design direction, but we also wanted to consider how and where the products would live, from the tasting room display all the way through to the customers fridge. We feel as though the design netted out in a place that reflected the ethos of the Steel & Oak brand, every step of the way.

Camilo A.R Marquez
Im Camilo A.R Marquez, i can defined myself as a observer and translator of my surroundings to objects, images and sounds. Im interesting in generate a distinctive language on my approach to form; for me, form is expression and that expression is my necessity to communicate. The sensuality that can be referred to a shape, the mystery and elegance that dark colours can have, the strong impression that symbols have, the anger and energy on a stroke, the sounds that a machine mades, all this is so provocative for me; having this a charge, this emotional charge that drives me to create. By this base, I'm interesting in toy design, watch design, light design, and mostly furniture on the industrial design field, on the hand of the image; the hand made illustration made by ink and photography is an spontaneous force and now exploring fine arts in the base of painting. I believe that we are mirrors of our surroundings and possessions, it shapes us, makes us communicate to the world who we are and who we want to be identified, that said; my aim is to create elements that can be appealing and provocative, some times polemic and sensual, symbolic and even authoritarian. But that’s the lowest part of the equation; the traditions, the believes and experiences, this is what we really are; thats what we collect from life; therefore is a vast and rich materia for been explored,my aim is to use this forms as a and manifest of creation.
About the art works Paintings Painting is my respond of how art has been a such strong influence on my designs. I'm interested in recreate movement and fluidity based on three Colours RED BLACK WHITE as tools to form statements of strength, redemption, passion, evilness, purity and timeless. BLINKING CITY + Pizza box Digital Art, Packaging, Pattern Design
BLINKING CITY is a project investigating the inadequacy of traditional maps for city environments characterized by fast pace transformation and urban growth. As soon as the map is done, the city it describes has already gone. In occasion of Beijing Design Week 2012 (Sep. 29th - Oct. 6th) BLINKING CITY Project becomes a multimedia setting with interactive urban patterns based on collages of historical Hutong neighbourhoods of Beijing. We play with our work, usually street-oriented and mostly focused on the daily interactions of people and their city, designing a unique exhibition environment made of maps and colours. The project is composed of diverse parts, each of them using a different media to better express a sense of rapid change. Visitors will be surrounded by maps and urban patterns that will progressively define an aesthetic merging of forms and colours inspired by a nomadic and itinerant urban geography. The exhibition features a background wall composed by 32 new digital printings on lenticular panels, which vary according to the movement of viewers; a long map on paper roll to take away by the metre; video animation with relax area and

Angel Ejtel
lika "Can anyone entangle between love and death an anecdote about being" ~Halina Poświatowska
Angelika Ejtel (aka RapidHeartMovement) is a Polish self-portraitist currently based in the U.S. She considers her photographic creation as a poetic experience in which she drowns herself, dissolves herself and, as a result, it gives her the feeling that she is reborn with each portrait into a new being. Her attitude towards the self is more of an exploratory journey between an awareness of self and an unawareness of some aspects of self.
She likes to define her photography as a poetic experience for one more reason: poetry is the powerful stimulus which inspires her to create. She is especially permeated with the poetry of a famous Polish poet – Halina Poswiatowska whose poetic world has become so much hers or perhaps, it has always been hers somewhere intrinsic to her inner life. Her “photographic words” can whisper in silence, cry in loneliness or scream in suffering, always between love and death. That’s her anecdote about being.

I will be this perfect empty body-a woman
Elegy
Ravenously my fingers into your fingers
We blossoming in the aquamarine May
Of my house with walls warm as unfinished dreams
(self-portrait with camera)
Right by the door stand my unshod feet and are begging
The trembling living world will congeal into a perfect shape nearly geometrical
The world is just two stories tall
On the edge of passing
