discusses success

In an effort to promote better health awareness, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – which has 20 locations in the Houston area – is partnering with the Defender in a series of articles written by health care professionals. Obstetrician/ gynecologist Dr. Earl Lombard introduces the series with an article on health and Black women.

Entertainment mogul Tyler Perry has achieved amazing success in show business. Though born in poverty and subjected to abuse, he found the faith and strength to persevere. Perry talks about his triumphs and the importance of positive thinking. He also discusses his new movie, “Good Deeds,” which features a star-studded cast. H Page
