During an African-American leadership conference at the White House, the Obama Administration released a report titled “The President’s Agenda and the African-American Community.” The nine-point agenda outlines President Obama’s concerns, accomplishments and goals. Priorities range from tax relief to support of Black businesses.  PAGE 4

Common talks about role

Hip-hop artist and actor Common has good things to say about his latest role. He plays Seymour in the animated film “Happy Feet Two.” Common said he is happy to be part of a family movie that can touch audiences of all ages. He hasn’t forgotten his recording roots and will release a new album, “The Dreamer, The Believer” in December.  PAGE 7
