Dear readers,

wir freuen uns, Ihnen das rechtswissenschaftliche Programm 2022 der Verlage De Gruyter und Otto Schmidt/De Gruyter präsentieren zu dürfen. We are delighted to present you the 2022 law program for the publishing houses De Gruyter and Otto Schmidt/De Gruyter. This year, we are publishing handbooks and commentaries on various topics including: online liability, IT contract law, digitalization and civil procedure, fintech law, new foundation law, and European company law. One highlight is the new edition of the Lang/Weidmüller commentary on the German Cooperative Society Act. The Staudinger highlights of 2022 include the first commentary on §§ 327-327u pertaining to the implementation of the Digital Content Directive, the revised volumes on AGB 1 and 2 (including short- and long-term, tacit extensions of temporary and permanent contracts) and on service contract and employment law (including answers to questions raised by Covid-19 and on crowd-working), and the eighth edition of Eckpfeiler des Zivilrechts (the Cornerstones of Civil Law).
