Indogermanische Forschungen publishes contributions mainly in the areas of historicalcomparative linguistics, historical linguistics, typology and characteristics of the languages of the Indogermanic language family. Essays on non-Indogermanic languages are also featured, provided that they coincide with the main focus of the journal with respect to methods and language history.

Sociolinguistica is a peer-reviewed journal comprising two issues per year and covering a broad range of topics related to individual and societal language use in contexts worldwide, as well as the social conditions of language use and the impact of language on social structures. Seeking to spearhead debates on the future of macrosociolinguistics, the journal welcomes free submissions and proposals for themed issues in English, especially those aiming to thicken intersections with other fields in the social sciences and humanities. Alongside scientific articles of a more traditional format, it is open to alternative forms of scholarly writing (e.g. policy papers, opinion pieces, research reports, dialogues). It also prioritises reviews of books not published in English, so as to make accessible to a broader audience the important contributions of research conducted in other languages.

Die ZcP wurde 1897 von Kuno Meyer und Ludwig Christian Stern gegründet. Sie ist damit unter den heute noch existierenden bedeutenderen keltologischen Zeitschriften die älteste. In den frühen Perioden waren Schwerpunkte der ZcP keltische (vornehmlich frühe irische) Philologie und festlandkeltische (vornehmlich gallische) Sprachdenkmäler. Später wurden diese Bereiche durch neukeltische Sprachen und typologische Fragestellungen erweitert.
Zeitschrift für celtische Philologie (ZcP) was founded in 1897 by Kuno Meyer and Ludwig Christian Stern. It is thus the oldest significant journal of Celtic studies still in existence. In the early period, its focus was on Celtic (mainly Early Irish) philology and extant texts in Continental Celtic languages (mainly Gaulish). Later, these areas were extended to include modern Celtic languages and typological questions.

The journal Zeitschrift für germanistische Linguistik (Journal of German Linguistics) explores the German language in its various manifestations, past and present. The journal Zeitschrift für romanische Philologie (ZrP), founded by Gustav Gröber in 1877, covers the entire field of Romance linguistics as well as medieval literature and textual criticism. The journal publishes four issues annually. The publication languages are French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Romanian as well as German and English.
