Deineka Gallery
The Kursk State Picture Gallery named after A.Deineka is a classical art museum. Now the collection of the gallery covers more than 8000 works of Russian and Western European art of the XVI - XX centuries, including painting, sculpture, graphics, applied arts and folk art. The collection of European painting includes the works of Barocci, Tiepolo, Rode, Klengel. Russsian art is represented by Borovikovsky, Rokotov, Tropinin, Schwartz, Polenov, Levitan, Kramskoy, Kuindzhi. The subject of particular interest are the paintings of the artists whose biography is linked with Kursk. An impressive collection of Deineka's works of art are of great interest among visitors.
