The Kensington Temple London
R53 Millennium Chair (B146)
3,000 Rosehill Millenium chairs installed at the Kensington Temple.
A minimum requirement for sustained audience attention is comfortable seating. The Rosehill Millennium chair combines quality and durability making it the ideal choice for auditorium and conference. When the Kensington Temple (pictured above) needed 3, 000 chairs, they chose Rosehill. They already knew about Rosehill's reputation for quality and service. From the dozens of styles and types in the Rosehill range, the Millennium chair proved the perfect choice. After 25 years in the business, Rosehill know how to meet tight deadlines. We accepted the order for 3,000 R53 chairs knowing we had only three weeks to make
the delivery. The logistics on this size of order are important, so we left nothing to chance. The chairs were delivered in batches over a three day period prior to the opening ceremony. It was a great honour for Rosehill to be involved in such a prestigious project, both Rosehill and the customer were delighted with the end result. The Kensington Temple contract demonstrates Rosehill's commitment to service and quality. Since the instalment was completed it has provided a steady stream of enquiries from conference centres and churches around Europe.
"We had every confidence in Rosehill and they did not let us down"

Harringay United Church London Coronet Rollfront Chair (B150)
Above: 200 Coronet Rollfront chairs installed at Harringay United Church, London. Date of installation: July 2006
"The chairs are practical to use, easily manoeuvrable for various activities and they are easy to stack neatly."
Michael Lampejo Chairperson of Building and Facilities Group
Harringay Congregational Church originated in a Sunday school in 1891 in an upstairs room behind a shop at the south corner of Falklands Road and Green Lanes. It moved to its existing location at the corner of Allisons Road and Green Lanes in 1902 when the present building was completed. In 1969, Harringay Congregational Church united with Hornsey Church of Christ and became known as Harringay United Church. Sometime in the seventies the church became affiliated with the London Baptist Association (LBA) and the Baptist Union of Great Britain (BUGB) and is now a multi-cultural and multi-national church comprising of people from different parts of the world united for one purpose, to worship God and lift Jesus up as lord and saviour of all. The decision to replace the pews was taken in the spring of 2006 for the following reasons; to make the big hall a multi-functional place of worship, to allow flexibility of use for large and small groups and to modernise the place of worship to meet today’s standards.
The choice of style and colours is beautiful and the arrangement is attractive to everyone who enters the church. The chairs are very comfortable to sit on. The back pad supports you from the lower back to the top of your shoulder and the seat pad supports the backs of your knees.
