Situated on Alexandra Road South in the area of Whalley Range, Manchester. St Bede's College is a Roman Catholic Independent Grammar School with an enviable reputation. The school was founded in 1875 by the then Bishop of Salford, Herbert Vaughan, and moved to its present site a few years later after the acquisition of the former Manchester Aquarium building. The school admits children from families of whatever Christian denomination. It provides a wide range of subjects and pupils perform well at GCSE and A-level.

St Bede's is a Catholic college and not simply a 'school'. They transmit the message of the Gospel and uphold the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. St Bede is the school patron and his dedication to the pursuit of learning and his search for knowledge of the Lord are some of the qualities that enrich their work.

Parents are recognised as the primary educators of their children, and they are actively involved in decisions concerning their children's progress. In addition, the College welcomes the advice and watchful care of the Governing Body and the Diocesan authorities.

St. Aidan’s Church of England High School is located close to the centre of the North Yorkshire Spa town of Harrogate. It was established 40 years ago and has rapidly developed in both prestige and size. The school started with 750 students when it opened in 1968 and today boasts a thriving community of close to 2000 students. St Aidan’s is ranked among the highest achieving comprehensive schools, both for its academic excellence and wider opportunities. St. Aidan's High School enjoys the privilege of being a Church of England Voluntary Aided High School. It is a mixed comprehensive for 11 - 18 year olds with a nationally renowned Sixth Form Association with St John Fisher Catholic High School.
St. Aidan's holds the coveted International School Award and has twice been judged by Ofsted to be outstanding. A flourishing comprehensive school whose name is a byword for musical, sporting and theatrical achievement with academic excellence, but most of all a deep and abiding concern for those in a less privileged and less fortunate position. The chairs for the main hall are the R56 Coronet Roll-Front (B158), bought in 1997.

One of the first schools to be awarded the National Healthy School Status in 2006, and the winner of the TES “Best school dinners 2009” they needed a nice deli-bar area so opted for Rosehill Aluminium Tables (E305) and Chairs (B301).

The Chapel was extended in 2007, after looking at several samples the decision was to purchase the Maxim Deluxe Stacking Chairs (A161).
