360 Recycling turns trash into treasure. Through a patented ‘waste’ conversion formula created by CEO Scheed Cole, this social enterprise transforms plastic and other disposable refuge (PET bottles, Styrofoam containers, and cardboard boxes, etc.) into products of value such as flower pots, park and garden benches, and such construction materials as building blocks, partition boards, outdoor tiles and more. Through strategic partnerships, 360 Recycling boasts waste collection programs that reduce the non-biodegradable waste on landfills across the island. The processes of recycling and up-cycling allow this social enterprise to manufacture garden products, playgrounds, building systems, and building materials, and in so doing, 360 Recycling provides jobs for members of neighbouring communities.
