83M6E Command and Control System
Mission
The 83M6E command and control system is designed for battle management of the S300PMU1 and S-300PMU ADM systems fitted with an appropriate interface equipment.

The mobile 83M6E command and control system provides the above ADM systems with target designation of current and prospective aircraft, cruise missiles, ballistic targets, and other air attack weapons, within the range of the air defence systems responsibility coverage zone, as well as their interoperability in adverse tactical environment.
The ADMS generates target designation data using signals from its own acquisition radar and data from subordinate SAM systems, as well as information received from superior command and control systems or adjacent 83M6E C2 systems, and/or (any other) radar assets of AD grouping, in case superior C2 systems are not available. Combat assets: • 54K6E command post; • 64N6E target acquisition radar; • 1T12-2M survey vehicle.
Technical support assets: • ZIP-1B and ZIP-2 SPTA sets; • external power sources (two 5I57A diesel generators and three 63T6A distributing converters.
Assigned facilities: • YuT24Ts and YuT24V antenna masts; • 15Ya6E relay station; • 66Ya6 radio relay station; • 13Yu6E central computer repair lab. Command and Control System
